Stay Trendy, Parents: The Hottest Baby Names of 2017
Like much else in this pop culture-obsessed Internet age, baby names have really changed.
Gone are the Michaels and Ashleys or Christophers and Amandas. The trend today is to either name your baby after your favorite celebrity (think Mila for Mila Kunis) or character (think Archer after the title character of FX sitcom Archer). Many are also reaching back a few decades for some legit old-school options. (Hello there, Eleanor and Winston!)
While it’s nice to mix things up a bit, some of 2017’s trending baby names are a bit out there. (Paislee? Really? Can’t we at least spell it the correct way?)
