Mom Turns Toddler’s Wall Scribbles into Work of Art

A toddler drawing on the living room wall is a cliche example of childhood mischief at this point, often causing consternation for parents in television and movies.  However, one real life mom has taken her toddler’s work of “art” in a totally different direction.

A Reddit user who goes by the moniker frankiboy shared a side by side image of a wall earlier this week. On the left, the wall has clearly been scribbled on by the child, while on the later right photo that the child’s drawings have been traced over and expanded into a beautiful floral print. The post was accompanied by the caption, “What happens when a creative kid has a creative mom.”

The post attracted a great deal of attention, as over 700 Reddit users commented on the toddler and mom’s artistic “collaboration.” Many of the comments are from self-professed other parents, while some are judgmental over the mom’s actions.
