Motherhood is never easy, especially when it comes to pregnancy. Most women take a lot of comfort in the fact that they can choose who to talk to about labor, how they choose their baby’s name, the gender reveal party, and more. Meghan Markle, though she lives a life of luxury, definitely doesn’t get that luxury. When Markle got pregnant, she soon learned that the queen would be the first to learn about her going into labor. She was also barred from having a gender reveal party, a baby shower, and traveling abroad. Along with social restrictions, the royal family also demanded she have a midwife on call. Moreover, the newlywed couple also had to wait until the queen gave the go-ahead before Markle could let her child be seen by the public. Did I mention she still had to wear high heels while pregnant? Someone, please give markle a medal. That’s some seriously brutal foot pain!
