Amy Finley is the winner of the third season of The Next Food Network Star, and an American cook and writer. During the competition, she tried to remove herself from the show with a disastrous cooking demonstration in Week 5; however, she was reinstated for the finale after a fellow chef was eliminated for lying about his background. She ended up winning, becoming the first female contestant to do so. Her show The Gourmet Next Door lasted for six episodes before Finley quit the show due to stress of being a television personality. Finley appeared on Chopped but was eliminated after the second round.
